The last old time songs workshop series went so well that I thought we should do a second round! There are more old time songs to sing, after all. I know the title says Part 2, but you do not need to have participated in Part 1 (although the archive is available for purchase on my website if you’re interested).

Workshops will take place online on Wednesdays (3/6, 3/13, 3/20, and 4/3*) from 5:30-6:45pm Pacific via Discord (it’s not that different from Zoom, I promise, and it’s better for keeping track of workshop materials). After signing up, registrants will get a downloadable .html file (openable in your internet browser) with a link to instructions. The download link expires 24 hours after purchase so I recommend downloading it right away. Workshops will be recorded and posted in the Discord server.

This is an intermediate workshop. Participants will be most comfortable if they’re already able to play the basic clawhammer stroke, as well as hammer-ons, pull-offs, slides, and drop-thumbs at a medium speed.

*The last two sessions are 2 weeks apart because of Portland Public School’s spring break.
